Mr. Oluseyi Owoturo, the President and Chairman of the Institute, emphasized this in a statement from Lagos. Owoturo revealed that the ICMR's annual conference scheduled for November 4, 2023 in Lagos will center around exploring the inherent opportunities within the capital market to drive economic resurgence.

The conference aims to unravel the strategies for navigating uncertainties in the Nigerian economy, shedding light on how innovative technology is reshaping and expanding the capital markets. It will delve into how technological innovation is revolutionizing these markets and shaping the future.

A notable figure in the finance sector, Mr. Ade Bajomo, a former Group Executive Director of Access Bank Plc and current President of the FinTech Association of Nigeria (FintechNGR), is set to deliver the keynote address. The conference's theme is "Navigating Nigeria's Economic Realities: The Transformative Power of Technology in the Capital Market."

Distinguished speakers at the event include Mr. Dayo Obisan, Executive Commissioner of Operations at the Securities & Exchange Commission (SEC), and Prof. Uche Uwaleke, Director of the Institute of Capital Market Studies at Nasarawa State University, as well as Special Adviser to the Senate Committee Chairman on Capital Market.
