The Governor of Kaduna State expresses his joy as the last kidnapped pupil from Bethel Baptist High School is released by bandits, putting an end to a lengthy period of captivity.

Kaduna State Governor, Senator Uba Sani, expresses joy over the release of Treasure Ayuba, the last kidnapped pupil of Bethel Baptist High School, who had been in captivity since July 5, 2021. Gunmen had abducted 121 students from the school in Damishi, Kaduna.


 Governor Sani, in a statement released by his Chief Press Secretary, Mohammed Shehu, thanked God for this divine intervention and expressed his gratitude to all those who had worked tirelessly and prayed for Ayuba's safe return.

The governor affirmed the state government's commitment to providing the necessary support to security agencies to ensure the safety and security of schools in Kaduna. Treasure Ayuba has been reunited with his family. The Nigeria Baptist Convention had earlier confirmed his release, marking a significant development in the case.
