Super Eagles winger, Moses Simon, has received a nomination for the coveted Nantes Player of The Month award for October. This recognition comes as a result of his exceptional performance for the Canaries throughout the month.

The competition for this prestigious accolade is intense, with three other highly skilled midfielders contending for the title. Florent Mollet, Pedro Chirivella, and Marcus Coco have all exhibited commendable performances in their respective roles.

Among the nominees, Mollet stands out as the frontrunner, having netted once and provided an assist in three appearances during the month. While Simon, known for his consistent and impactful contributions, registered one goal assist in the same period.

Adding to the mix, Nantes captain Chirivella secured one goal in October, and Marcus Coco equally found the back of the net once during the month.

The club’s official website has issued a statement, urging the Yellow and Green supporters to cast their votes. Simon has been an integral part of Nantes since initially joining on loan from Levante in 2019, eventually making a permanent move the following year. Over this period, the 28-year-old has scored 28 goals and provided 31 assists in 156 games, contributing significantly to Nantes' triumph in the Coupe de France in 2022.
